While it was hot in the city, we popped ourselves down in the shade and spent the afternoon relaxing and listening to the talent exuding from the CKNU boys.
On Thursday the girls from Year 7 – 11 headed over to Murrigunyah in Woodridge to participate in their NAIDOC celebrations. We had a deadly feed, listened to some fascinating speakers and saw some very talented dancers perform. It was a fantastic day out!
Our NAIDOC celebrations have been fantastic so far and it has been humbling to see the girls excitedly learning more and more about ATSI culture and achievements.
