Shalom students shared in a wonderful day of competition at our recent Athletics Carnival. Students from all year levels across the three houses: Badjigal, Gabul and Gurur competed fiercly to win. Students from Gurur were crowned house champions as they achieved 1349 points on the day.
The students competed in the 100, 200 and 800 metre running races, high jump, long jump, javelin, shot put, relays, frisbee, and ball games.
The whole event was an overall success and the participation by all students was outstanding, almost every student was up participating in each event and earning points for their house.
