Curriculum

Years 7-9

Our curriculum centres on project- based learning with a focus on well-being and literacy, numeracy and science.

Throughout the week students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities such as swimming, cooking, technology-based learning, wellbeing sessions, art and more.

All students in these year levels study topics from subjects drawn from the Australian Curriculum.

Years 10-12

When students enter their senior years of schooling at Carinity Education Rockhampton, we work together to identify an individualised pathway for each student.

Each student is provided with the opportunity to achieve a Queensland Certificate in line with the Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority (QCAA).

Our young people are also able to access a range of elective Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses in a wide variety of areas.

For more information about these subjects and courses please contact us

“The most rewarding aspect of my role as a youth worker at Carinity Education Rockhampton, is making a difference to the lives of our regions youth, helping to shape their minds and leading by example by being the person I needed during these crucial years.”
