Our History

Carinity Education Rockhampton opened in January 2016 and is one of five schools operated by Carinity. Carinity has other campuses in Brisbane, Hervey Bay, Gladstone and Townsville.

A brand new Administration, Gym & Workshop and Art and Design building was erected in 2019 and Multipurpose Court was completed in early 2020.

Carinity (formerly Queensland Baptist Care) has been making a real difference in people’s lives since 1949 through comprehensive and integrated community services. These include the provision of care to the frail aged, shelters for homeless youth, helping families and young people through difficult times, support for people with disability, retirement lifestyle communities and chaplaincy support at hospitals.
