World Teachers’ Day on October 25 is an opportunity to recognise and applaud educators for their important role in our communities and for the positive impact they have on the lives of students.
The commitment of more than 220 staff who support young people in five Carinity Education schools – including teachers, youth workers, chaplains and support staff – will be recognised on World Teachers’ Day.
They include Dani Radel, a teacher at Carinity Education Gladstone.
School Principal, Jane Greenland, said Dani “guides and encourages students in her classes with care, compassion and respect.”
“Her impact is huge because she truly believes in the ability of every young person in her classes, expects great things from them – and consequently they shine and gain self-belief,” Jane said.
“The amazing individual and collective impact that each staff member has contributes to the success of each and every student and the happiness within our school community.”
Carinity CEO, Kevin Griffiths, said the theme of this year’s World Teachers’ Day – ‘Teachers make a difference’ – resonates deeply with Carinity’s mission.
“Every day, through dedication and care, our teachers make a significant impact on the lives of our students,” Kevin said.
“Our teachers’ influence extends beyond the classroom, touching the hearts of young people and guiding them towards a future filled with hope, and opportunity.”
